Anna's professional focus for the past 8 years has been in gemstone mining where sustainability has been one of the most critical areas. During her tenure at Gemfields PLC, a world-leading supplier of responsibly sourced colored gemstones, Anna was involved in a search, acquisition, and launch of new mining assets, such as field projects in Colombia, Zambia, Mozambique, Sri Lanka, and Ethiopia.

Anna holds a Foundation Degree of The Gemmological Association of Great Britain. She is an MSc graduate from the London School of Economics and holds a cum laude degree from Moscow State Lomonosov University (MSU) where she is currently working on a Ph.D. in the field of international political economy.
